yeah its confusing. Its 2.4 if you just drained the oil and didnt change the filter. 2.8 if you did oil and filter (which you always should) and the big number 3.5 if you totallly got every last drop of oil out of the motor (usually after a rebuild) thats how much oil it would take. on a normal oil change you never get all the oil out.
