I ran into a similar problem last year. An older, knowledgeable guy at the dealer ordered me a cable from a slightly newer, bigger-engined Yamaha. It was not quite a perfect fit, there´s little adjustment available at the carb, but it works fine. Amazingly for me, I still have the bill. It says the Yamaha part number is 438-26312-01-00. Good luck!
