Looking for a wiring diagram and a little help...

Hi gang. I´m a newbie here just looking for some help on an oldie (but a goodie) that my father has given me.

Like yours, its a ´78 DT175. My father got it out of a guys barn where it had been sitting for quite a while. I have already removed and cleaned the carb (didn´t look very bad at all), had a new clutch installed, and am working on getting some tires for it.

However, there are a couple of things that are driving me nuts. First off, I have a tail light, but no brake light. I purchased a new brake light switch, but it didn´t solve the problem. I have looked everywhere I can think of in following the wiring, but can´t find a short anywhere. FWIW, it bike is without a headlight, so I don´t know if that would be a factor.

Second is the choke. Like I said, I removed and cleaned the carb, but the bike will NOT run unless the choke is at least 1/4 pulled out. I have messed with the only adjustment screw I can see (The idle screw I presume) but can´t seem to solve this one either. Is there a mixture screw that I am missing?

TIA for anyone´s help

-Jason
