No it will not affect your oiler if you take the battery off..the battery´s only purpose is lights indicator -speedometer lights,rpm gauge lights...the oiler works by gravity..it´s setup to drip very small drops of oil in the compression cylinder thus mixing it with the gasoline for spark and igniting...what´s the oil and gas mixture ratio you are using ?
