I have had an 1984 Yamaha DT 125 LC since it was new. It is in vacation home so only use it a few weeks per year and it has always run great.

This time, however, it will only start rolling fast downhill (NOt with kick start), then runs smoother at higher speeds but dies at low engine speed. My semi-educated guess is that I have an ignition problem rather than carb/fuel problem.

Can anyone make a suggestion based on my description.
