hey guys,
i have a 1981 yamaha dt. i dont have a cdi on it but i only bought the bike for 50$. what i do have is an ignition coil. now im not sure if this will work or not and i have no clue how the wiring goes. DOes anyone have a wiring guide for it, if i have to i will buy a cdi.. Ok with the ignition coil hooked to the gold coil behind the fly i feel no power. i put a nail where the plug should go to test it. when i hold on to the frame i get a good shock even with no cdi..... i have sanded and clean all grounds.. now im confused....email me with any ideas
