Top Heavy??

Just got the 1100 custom also have a 03 Suzuki volusia. The Custom seems top heavy in the corners have to really work it in the corners, have never felt comfortable in hard leans. Is this a normal feel for this bike?? Before the Volusia was 22 years since rode. That was on a Kaw 900.
