the specs for anyone who cares are wrong.(straigt out of the factory manual)
first of all the horsepower is 30bhp@7.500
21.1 ft-lb@7000
it weighs 304lbs
top speed is between 93-100mph
quarter mile times 14.8
this bike was made only one year 1972 not 1971.
if anyone needs more info on the bike or questions buy a manual clymer , haynes or a factory(ebay sells them, look under rd 250 or rd350) and also www.aircooled-rd.com is agreat resource for information, check out the forums. www.motocarrera.com sells aftermarket and nos parts for the bike(expensive), ebay is always a good place(expensive), and forums like the above. good luck
