| Yes, i purchased 3 of the yamaha c3´s and took to dealer for fuel line recall and crank shaft recall replacement, now two of them will not start in hot weather. Just like you said, cold weather only. i have 1300 miles on mine and only 74 of them after the recall. Dealer is now saying i need to pay $445.00 each for new fuel pumps. i find this hard to believe as they ran perfect before the recall. And in cooler temps they will run 38 miles per hour and not skip a beat. But absolutely will not run hot!!!!! Lost as to what to do. Yamaha customer services refuses to talk with me and states the dealer must call. But they wont and they tell me to buy new fuel pumps for two extremely low mileage c3´s. My son had the same recalls on his and he has over 5000 miles and not one problem. i am so disappointed. No place to go with this. going to bring them back home tomorrow and store them for now. A real dissapointment for us! |
