Hi All, I´ve owned my Bulldog since March ´04 and I think it´s a great bike which has been totally underestimated by the sportsbike-loving motorcyle press. Plenty of torque and a lazy ride with minimal gear changes. But then again, it will propell you to illegal speeds (100+) if you wish. The best bit is the shaft drive - It´s great not having to lube & adjust a chain, and no clinging muck to clean off either! Some slate the performance, but then if you´ve been riding 4 cyclinder sports bikes, it will be a come down. For your average ability rider it´s got more than enough poke! Lots of goodies available for personalising these bikes. I´ll probably keep mine a good while and I would like to see it evolve from standard. I think this bike falls into the same class as a Harley Sportster, Moto Guzzi Brevia 750 & BMW R850R. Have a test ride if you´re thinking of buying and hopefully you will be pleasantly surprised. ***Why not visit http://www.eboards4all.com/240386/ another Bulldog Forum. There are several of us hoping to take our Bulldogs to Germany for a large Bulldog Meet - 10th to 12th June 2005. Any extra Bulldog riders would be most welcome to join in. John W |
