Even with an engine of 1,063cc this is a very economical bike if ridden sensibly. I am getting over 53mpg (5.33 l/100km) while running in a new bike but this includes some city traffic. You should easily get at least 50mpg (5.6 l/100km), and I estimate that on long runs 55mpg (5.1 l/100km) is a possibility. Good luck!
