I just purchased a 98 marauder, so far I love all but a couple of things about it. My two problems, are of course the seat, I´m sure many of you know how uncomfortable it can be on a long ride, but I am already planning to replace that. Next is the sound, I´d like it to be a lot stronger/lower/louder, you know... better. The only parts that I can find for the exhaust are slip ons. I have put slip ons on another bike, and didn´t really notice much of a difference in sound, I´m curious if anyone has done this to their bike, or have any info about it, so far I have found several customer reviews on sites selling the parts, but I don´t know how much I trust that.
