Points? In a 99? USA OEM (Susuki)spec is all electronic ignition. Timing is supposed to be set to 5 degrees B.T.D.C. with idle set to less than 1,500 rpm. Spark Plug gap is 0.8 - 0.9mm (0.031-0.035 in)
