I have a 98 marauder with a bad lower rod bearing. I have been told this is a very frequent issue with this bike. As I am looking at a $2800 rebuiild bill or an $1700 salvage yard replacement engine want to see if anyone has used a different model engine to replace that is easier, thus cheaper, to find?
