Batter issue??

I´ve been having problems with my ´99 Marauder starting. Every once in a while I can go on a ride and then stop and try to start the bike again like 20 minutes later and it acts like the batter doesn´t have enough power to turn over.
Today I rode the bike to school and then back home for lunch. After eating, 30 minutes later, I tried to ride to work and it doesn´t want to turn over. When I left school it started on the first push of the starter.
Any suggestions?
