restarted my ´90 VX 800 after 4 yr garage layup. got it started and warmed-up OK. however, when i shift it into any gear is konks out! i have checked the clutch cable, it looks ok. the shut-off button on the kick stand is disengaged. it just konks out when i shift into gear. so, it started ok but i cant ride.

ANY SUGGESTIONS???
