I just bought a 1990 VX 800. I really like it. I´m looking forward to learning all about it, and thought joining a discussion group would help.

First question, (I know it sounds bad) but how do you check the oil? I´ve looked all over for a dip-stick. I found a screw cap for filling the crank case, but no stick!
