I purchased a 92 vs 800 from local tow yard approximately1 1/2 yr ago. one minor wreck bent bars and mirrors so I replaced with harley ape hangers from a friends sportster 1200 he had changed out. I also installed harley teardrop mirrors mounted through clutch and brake leverswith forward turn signals mounted beneath. swapped a corbin seat off 1400 intruder which is my limit at present because I need to have more input before going further.

I am 240lbs and the 95mph top end on this wonderful bike is just not enough when driving at freeway speeds to feel comfortable about manuvering away from blind autos attracted to her red paint. So does anyone here have some suggestions that I may apply that could increase the HP without a complete motor rebuild? The bike is so light and manuverable (especially with the apes) I just need a touch more out of her. Thanks
