You did well to buy this bike. I have a 1989 model and thoroughly enjoy riding it here in New Zealand. The only drawbacks are as far as I can tell that they are difficult to work on for someone like me who wants to do all his own maintenance and a pity it has no centerstand for that purpose. With a bit of tlc and proper maintenance you should be able to get high milage out of your bike. Good luck, Richard.
