93 suzuki intruder choke cable housing

i own a 93 intruder did alot of work to it got it running and now the choke cable housing keeps pulling out of the plastic nut that holds the choke plunger in place because of that it pops out the exhaust how can i fix this problem and also because of the cable problem it`s dump
