I just changed the plugs on my Volusia. FYI, if you use your choke frequently to start your bike then you will shorten the life on your plugs. When I began I was intimidated when I realized I was going to have to remove my tank...but a novice can do this with a little patience and help from a buddy. If someone sit and hold your tank on the left side of your bike you wont even have to remove your fuel lines. This is what I had to do to access the plugs.
