What did you finally get? Have you done the trip? I did the Blueridge Parkway and GS Mountains in 2001. Rode from Nova Scotia to Deals Gap. We were 2-up on a Honda Valkyrie which was very comfortable but I had a V-Star 650 at the time and couldn´t imagine a solo ride for that trip. Guess it depends on where you start eh? Was a wonderful ride and I hope to do it again with my own ride.
