I am 6´-2", 230 lbs and have never ridden a motorcycle. I have a choice of purchasing a brand new 2004 Volusia 800 or a 1998 Honda Shadow American Classic w/4200 miles. Which bike will give me the best performance? I want enough power to carry an occasional rider on a highway cruise and trips to the Blue Ridge Pkwy in the NC mountains.
