Hi. When I got my new bike it was bought at auction. Abandoned at airport. Anyways. After sitting for a while fuel will begin to oxidize. You need to clean your fuel system clean to the carb. Be careful with fuel petcock. Also check your vaccine lines as in the 03 you have to have vaccine to even get fuel petcock to open for gas. Just for safety try checking your spark plug as well. I had to rebuild my bikes fuel system and found it very easy to figure out. (Ps if you try starter fluid and it runs it is most likely what I spoke of)
