Neil,

According to my rough calculations, you should be able to travel about 20 miles as soon as the last bar starts flashing. Here is the breakdown:

Fuel capacity is 4.49 Gallons according to the specifications. There are 5 total bars on the display. Hence:

Each bar accounts for: 0.898 gallons
Assuming you get 45mph, each bar should take you: 40.41 miles
Assuming that the flashing means you are 1/2 of full bar: 40.41/2 == 20.205


Any others out there?
