well i had the same problem on mine and it was the solenoid. it wasn´t shot, but it didnt let enough volts pass through. also does your battery box say. 16 bs1. because if it is smaller than that you dont have enough cranking amps. if you live in western nc, i can give you the number to the man that fixed mine.
