Have a ´02 Intruder 1500, love the bike, same problem exists where charging / starting is concerned.
Replaced battery, but still have problem, Dealer of course can find nothing wrong at 80$ an hr.
When bike is running, lights flicker, under a load they dim, get bright, dim, etc.
Will not start unless I jump it, then it fires right up.
Charged battery, and will be ok for a few days, then back to the same issue.
I will look into the possible fixes suggested here, but if I can´t get this straightened out, I might trade it off.
Seriously frustrating!
