had my 03 intruder go thru its recall checks and pressure tests and fittment of its new rubber buffers. The guys at the shop said that they have done about 8 bikes including an older 97 model and so far and none have leaked. I think maybe that suzuki are just being overcautious because of the "law suit paranoia" culture that is alive and well in the united states.
