Clutch problems in hot weather |

Hi.. In very hot weather (or if the bike´s standing an a traffic line for a long time) the cluch gradually fades away to nothing. Pulling over and letting it cool down again restores it to normal. I looked at the way the clutch line is run on my bike and it seems to be routed directly over the top of the engine. This is obviously a heat problem and I have a hunch that fitting a braided steel hose will help, I just wondered if anyone else had experienced this and found some other way round it (re-routing the hose... heavier grade fluid etc)? Thanks for any help, Gary (I´m UK based but my bike´s in New Hampshire) |
