I´m 5´6" and I´m managing to ride mine ok. The seat is tall and took some getting used to. Suzuki has a seat that is about 3/4 of an inch lower, you may consider getting it, I´ve just kept mine stock. I´ve dropped the bike it 3 times at very low speeds, causing me to have to replace both front turn signals. Tight low speed circles and U-turns gave me the most trouble, I´ve finally gotten to where I´m semi-comfortable in such situations. Once you get the bike, go to a quiet parking lot and practice your turns. Look for the "Ride Like a Pro" dvds on the web. They helped me tremendously with low speed maneuvering.
