i bought a 185 er a while ago, it was mot,d and ran ok but needed tidying. i stripped it and fitted a new frame, replaced everything and the engine screamed when i started it. i tried another carb... same thing. so i fitted a new crankshaft bearing and oil seals, checked carb, cable, started it and it is still over-revving. only thing i can presume is maybe i have a crank gasket leak somewhere, anyone had a similar prob. or other clues ?
