Kymco Super 8 125cc brakes

Can Kymco design this scooter to have rear disc brakes. Super 8 is heavy and the drum brakes is insufficient to safety stop this scooter.
I tried to talk to mechanics but it will take a lot of work to convert to rear disc brakes.
If Kymco has a design or a kit that is available please inform me through my e mail.
