I WOULD DEFFINETLY LIKE TO KNOW WHO AND HOW THEY TESTED THE TOP SPEED OF THIS BIKE BECAUSE THEY ARE WAY OFF THE MARK, I HAVE AN 01´ SV 650 THAT IS STOCK EXCEPT FOR A SELF MODIFIED EXHAUST AND SOME HOTTER SPARK PLUGS AND WE ALL KNOW WHAT THE SPEEDO RESGISTERS(150MPH), AND I MUST SAY WITH TOTAL HONESTY THAT MY SV HAS MAXXED THE SPEED OMETER AT 150MPH. THAT IS WITH ME A 6´4-1/2" 330 RIDER I HIT BETWEEN 145MPH AND 150MPH WHILE RACING AN 03´ MUSTANG GT DOWN A STRAIGHT STRECTH HIGHWAY. ONE OTHER THING TO PUT THE NAIL IN THE COFFIN, I HAVE HIT THE SO CALLED TOP SPEED JUST PASSING CARS ON THE HIGHWAY, IF YOU WANT TO SEE A BIKE THAT WILL ONLY DO 120MPH THEN GO GET A PIECE OF S*%T 500cc NINJA, THEN YOU WILL KNOW WHAT SLOW IS.
I AM NOT HOSTILE, IT IS JUST THAT THE TOP SPEED POSTED IS IN NO WAY CLOSE TO REALITY. THANKS
