I am considering the purchase of a 2003 sv1000s w/9800 miles. Are these bikes the type that the kids like to beat the crap out of before selling? I don´t know the history of this bike. I like the engine configuration and water cooling. Just wondering what type of reputation for mechanical reliability this model has.
