| Wanted to get back into Shape and picked up a 2000 XR200 for me and the2006 RM 85 for my 15yr old. She Was Not able to ride the RM it was Way TO fast for her. I was not happy with the XR but Found I loved the way the RM felt. I am short Fat and out of shape 5ft 6in and 220lb.The XR did not handle that good on the big hits but this little bike was outstanding with me on it. I picked it up from a racer I don’t know if the Suspension had mods but Works well for me in the woods. Now I have made some Mods to make it work for me. From Ebay used PR2 porting and Head mod making it a 105cc (did Case Mod Myself) FMF Fatty Pipe silencer combo Flat slide Carb 28 mm (2hrs Fine tune Jetting) K&N Filter V Force 3 reed Cage and intake Boot Mod And since I run it in tight Trails where you have to always be turning Jumping or something You have to climb over is in your way I do not need Speed I Geared it Down to 11 52 gearing with a O-ring chain. Now I don’t know Anny other mods I can do but it works well for me I can jump a 35ft double in 4 gear I can climb rocks in first trail riding I am in 2nd thru 5thmost of the time almost never get it out in the open to hit 6th but pulls well when I do Motocross track I am in 2nd 3rd and 4th on the small Track I have been on. I know I should be on a bigger Bike But I really like this One and it fits my size and I Feel Better with it and Go faster than on a bigger bike Like my Brothers YZ 400 |
