You bought a brand new bike 3 weeks ago and you come here to ask about the warranty? Are you OK? Seriously, where did you buy it? Did you follow the break-in procedure? Not sure if I understand your question but the bike is not supposed to idle on it´s own for long if everything is adjusted correctly. It should stall within about 5-10 seconds if you don´t touch the throttle. The exception to this is when the engine is cold. It will idle a little higher when cold and that should be high enough to stay running. Also, I´ve found that the bike does not like to be revved up before the engine is hot. Just let it run for a couple of minutes and give it steady throttle (just enough to keep it running) so that it is running for a couple of minutes before you try to rev it up. Hope that helps. |
