No spark, need ohm specs for cdi

putting a 02 rm125 back together. bought a cdi off ebay. claimed to be off a running bike. tried starting it and no spark.
i don´t know what the ohm reading should be on the cdi to make sure its putting out the right amount.
are there other things i should check first? what are the electrical specs on other components?
any help would be much appreciated.
