Ive got an exhaust leak- Ive sealed all the obvious ports as they exit the head what I mean is I´ve sealed the leaks, @ the ports, but there is still exhaust coming from somewhere . Besides the anoying spitting or ticking sound, I can also smell it as I´m riding. I need to remove the tank . I dont know how to do that . Its a 1990 police 1000 (kawa)
I´m not much of a mechanic (obviously)but I figure a stupid question is better than a stupid mistake. btw the bikes got about 22,000 mi on it . I picked it up at a surplus auction from a small town in no. california a couple of years ago.
