I put this tread in and I still have the bike. To get it back on the road I put in a used motor the end of last summer. Still plan on getting the old tranny going. Looking forward to the 1/4 mile and track days this summer. Come on guys and girls, this is a old bike now but a classic. If you have this bike don´t be scared. Chime in! Peace
