if the bike has been maintained, the mileage should´t be a problem. I bought a savage a few years back with a blown engine. the bike had been freeway driven and I suspect over speed caused its demise. the exhaust valves were collided with the piston. I converted my bike to Series Hybrid Electric. I do have some spare parts.
