My wife and I are looking for a bike to learn on. I´ve heard good things about the savage 650 and I´m currently looking at an ´87. I like it but a friend of ours told my wife that it would be hard for her to steer because the front wheel is further away from the seat than comparable bikes (honda shadow, v-star 650, etc). My wife is 5´0\
