I don´t know if it is a helpful information, just my opinion. Savage is my first motorcycle, bought last year (1999 model). From time to time I travel even 360 km. in sun and rain. The vibrations are noticable begining from 110 km/h and it seems that greater speed is quite an effort for the engine. But after all it is a small motorcycle in it´s class. 0-100 km/h reaches in 10 sec. the engine is flexible. But if you are an experienced rider and/or taller than 1.82 cm I would dissuade you from buying savage. It is small and for beginners. Good luck, Pawel
