Hi! My ´98 Intruder 1400 has undergone some serious customizing (130 front tire, dragbar, short rear-shocks, dynojet, custom frontlights, custom back....). I can suggest the dragbar but think origianl rear-shocks are better for frequent use (your backbone will thank you...). The brakes are weak, sorty drivers should think about changing the single front dis to a twin disc version. Performance is o.k. with empty stock pipes and Dynojet-kit. Any Harley eats dust. Reliability is outstanding. Never had such a reliable bike. I live in germany and use the bilke on the Autobahn from time to time. You can go with the flow at 160 Km/h for long miles without getting the engine into trouble. Over all a good bike for frequent rides. Sporty drivers need to customize brakes and shocks. Keept the rubberside down! Matz |
