This is the second Hayabusa I have owned the first being a 2000 model.
One word somes up this bike "TORQUE", you can have all the Horsepower ratings you want, on the street the deciding factor is Torque,this bike will pull like a rocket in any gear at any speed!.
The hayabusa also has a superb chassis and extremely competent handling.
Wind protection for the rider is virtually non existant, unless you are tucked down onto the tank.
Pillion comfort is extremely good with a wide comfortable seat and footpegs set at a comfortable height.
It has a large range of HotUp parts available from modest gains to 320HP streetable monsters
I have ridden the ZX12R (a great bike) the Hayabusa´s direct competitor it has a higher output at the very top of the rev range but can´t match the Busa through the range.
of all the Hyperbikes the GSX1300R Hayabusa is the one to have!.

P.S in 40,000 Kilometers I have never had a problem, except fried rear tyres.
