Hay guys, The specifications state that this machine only has a top speed of less than 120 mph. OK now tell the truth, how many of us have had the old water buffalo up to speeds in exesss of 135 mph? I have, back in 1976, several times. I had mine up to 140 mph, laying down, more than once. Clear cool day, several flat miles of straight asphalt. I mean really laying down, chin on the gauges, chest on the gas tank, legs over the tail lights, flat out. The best I could do on an empty stomach and 1/4 tank of gas was 140mph. I could always see the speedometer and tack reflecting on the clear windshield on my Bell Star full face helment. Any one else have a similar experience? Most of the guys I blew off of the road thought the old water buffals could only do 120, at best....were they suprised..and she could hang there for a considerable amount of time before I would get nervous and slow back down to 80-90mph.
