Hello, am building a 74 gt250 road/race bike. I dont need any lights, indicators etc, do I need a battery to run this bike? After installing freshly rebuilt engine I have tried to kick start for ages but on closer examination I dont even have spark at the points, does that mean my stator is dead? thanks for any help,
