Just brought a 99 gsxr750, was trying to decide weather to get a cbr600/gsxr600 or vtr1000/sv/TL1000. All very similar priced. Always loved suzuki´s dont really know why exactly, fathers had Honda´s his whole life, currently got a cb1300s and brothers both have cbr600´s. I had a gsx250 till i got my full licence ,it got me through but damb was it slow. I did alot of open road riding on it and had to keep it on 12,000rpm constantly to keep up with my brothers and leaning it over till my boots hit the ground to carry my speed through the corners. Now ive got a gsxr750 and finally ive got a better made bike with better suspension, more grip and power to over take grandma going up a hill, i couldn´t imagine a better bike just possibly a faster bike. More than triple the horsepower of my old bike but i garantee its safer on the open road. Ive always like the look of these bikes with the blue and white colouring, low to the ground racing position and insane power for a 750. On the road there isnt much point getting a 750 over a 600 there is a small power difference but its not major in anyway, the reason for the 750 is on a race track, and the sound it makes when you open it up. Suzuki just seem to know how to make road bikes feel like race bikes and to give you something that can make an average rider %!¤ or over other riders just because it almost drives itself. If i had an option for another bike it would have to be a newer 750 or 1000cc gsxr. They are %!¤ amazing bikes to ride, once you get on you wont want to get off and you go from medium to average rider to smooth and calculated racer in a heartbeat. |
