My Suzuki manual says if the F1 light is displayed. it relates to the fuel injection system.
If the fuel injection system fails the red indicator light (6) comes on and the display indicates ´´F1´´ in the following two modes;
A the display indicates ´´F1´´and the coolant temp. alternately,and the red indicator light remains lit.
B the display indicates ´´F1´´ continuously and the red light blinks while clanking the engine.
The engine will run in mode A but will not run in mode B.
It also says when ever the red light is lit and ´´F1´´is displayed-have a mechanic look at the fuel injection system. Hope this helps
