on my first ride home on my new 750 i noticed a burning brake smell, it was tripping me out so i stopped & checked it out. i found my rear brakes hot but i was not realy using it. i pumped it a couple times to check for proper function & it seemed ok & i havent noticed a problem since. not much help but what ever.
