1st, I have a 2002 750 race bike soon to be sold to a fellow racer, and a 2005 750 late race bike. I wish I could afford an 06 but the 05 ought to do me. And, yes the elastic net with coated hooks is what I mean. Seems to work ok ( but just ok ) on my liter Triumph.

The 06 600 and 750 are completely different bikes. I haven´t had a chance to really dig into the 06´s but they have totally redone the bike. It is shorter, with a longer swing arm, a stacked clutch and gear box and supposedly a bit more power and torque. The 06 600 has really gained midrange but mid range on a 600 GSXR is like 8,500 to 11,500.

I´m never ever, ever been under 7,000 at any track and since mine both are SuperSport legal using VP Ultimate 4 fuel and mapping to suit, they have plenty of stream even for my lardy butt. Depending on the dyno type my 2002 gets 123 BHP on an eddy current, and 144 on a Dyno Jet, un-corrected. Full system, thin head gasket, U4 and remapped.

This is on the high side and I´ve seen 02/03s getting anywhere from 118 to 124 on an Eddy current.

I have yet to get the 05 dynoed so I have no information

Importantly, The Two Bros all aluminum and titanium bars are the best no question. They make Heli Bars look crude. I use Woodcraft clip-ons on my race bikes and swear by them. Another tip is that if you find yourself running out of brakes ( unlikely on the street ) swap over to a Brembo radial master cylinder, Galfer stainless lines, Vesrah rotors, and Vesral RJL pads. The difference is like night and day no kidding.

Also, lots of street rider move to Traxxion Dynamics AK20 forks and a Penske rear. They will last forever, are completely tunable, and the forks can be used on all sorts of different bikes so save those stock ones.

BTW the 05 setup is Traxxion Dynamics forks, either regular or AK20´s dropped 10mm ( or raised up in the clamps ) and a rear eye to eye ride height of 334mm. Both of my bikes handle incredibly. Now of the rider was only up to the level of the bikes?????
